Technology has come to the rescue to an industry that is having problems, owing to the rise in cases of skin cancer, with some newer techniques that pose less danger. However, even in countries blessed with an abundance of sunlight such as Australia, tanning booths have been popular. Recent deaths attributed to skin cancer being caused by these booths have put that method under close scrutiny and in Australia some may even have legal action tacken against them.

This has led to many people looking at alternative ’safe’ methods for getting a tan. There has been in increase in artificial techniques with spray tanning high up on that list. Although bronzing agents have been around for many years, they tend to leave streak marks unless professionally applied.

Although the popularity is still to be proved, systems using the new spray tanning technology have been designed for home use. The methods of artificially creating this effect may differ but a guide to getting a good finish works with them all. First off, you should exfoliate your skin to remove any dead skin. If you apply a tan agent to dead skin it will just fall off and leave light spots in its place.

Once that stage has been completed, the body needs to be moisturized all over. Secondly, you always want to wear gloves if you are applying the tanning agent yourself to avoid getting the dreaded orange palms which are a dead give away that your tan is fake. Also, apply lighter coats on the joints of your fingers, your knees, and your elbows as these areas will appear darker if you do not and the same applies to your feet. When a spray tanning system is used a towel will be needed to wipe off any excess which could cause a streak.

Once the tanning agent (whatever type you have used) has been applied you will need to have somewhere to relax and not move while the coating dries or small smear marks might occur. Remember that these agents aren’t prejudiced and will tan clothes just as well as they do your skin, so be careful when choosing what you wear afterwards. You should choose something dark and also maybe something you don’t particularly care for until the excess is worn off. Applying an artificial tan successfully means there are a few rules to follow which should ensure it looks as genuine as possible.

One of the most important aspects of losing weight is attitude and changing bad habits and replacing them with new but good ones, something that requires a certain consistency. Just how quickly an individual loses weigh will depend on many issues; a number of these are highlighted below:

A person’s weight can cause severe mental and physical anguish. Of all the changes that happen to a person when they start to regain their old weight, it is those of being happy with what they are achieving that is the most pleasing. Is it surprising that rapid weight loss programs are so popular where there is so much to be gained; anyone contemplating this type of program needs to start eating a healthy diet as well as taking part in daily physical activity. This will require a regular and routine exercise period every day of about fifteen minutes, preferably a cardiovascular program and a diet that is flexible enough to incorporate personal tastes.

Though there are many rapid weight loss plans out there, everyone’s body and metabolism reacts differently to these programs; some people can’t progress on the diet as fast as others. If you find that your exercise regime and diet aren’t providing the weight loss fast enough you may need to adjust your regime accordingly. Whilst most systems do work, there isn’t one that will work for everyone that uses it so you may have to try another if the one you are using isn’t producing results; this is quite natural.

You may find that you are more comfortable walking than any other form of exercise; this is proven to be the best exercise and as muscles burn more calories than fat it’s also best to put on a little muscle which will make you look good too. The importance of drinking fresh water regularly cannot be emphasized enough; in particular with a rapid weight loss program because you need to stay hydrated and water is very good at removing unwanted toxins from the system. Fried foods are generally bad for you even when they are chicken or fish, both of which contain more fat than beef when it is fried.

Food that is grilled is generally better for your health so when presented with this option, take this over fried food. We all need energy to carry out daily tasks, and more if we perform physical activities, so do not stop eating carbohydrates otherwise you will find yourself tired all the time. Using a weight loss plan like this will mean that if followed correctly then around a pound a day will be lost, depending on the individual but it must be said that failure to maintain this level of 1,000 to 1,500 calories per day will ensure the weight will be put back on.
